This month we introduce Professor Sandy Middleton from the Nursing Research Institute (NRI).
“I am the Director of the Nursing Research Institute (NRI), a collaboration between St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and Australian Catholic University. Our team conducts rigorous multidisciplinary clinical and health services research focused on improving patient outcomes and health systems.
I have a particular interest in implementation science research examining ways to promote evidence translation in the areas of stroke management, hospital-acquired complications and patient safety. I am one of the chief investigators in the NHMRC Paediatric Emergency Medicine Centre for Research Excellence leading the implementation science research projects.”
