Cate Wilson

Cate is the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence funded Network Coordinator for the Australian and New Zealand emergency research network, PREDICT (Paediatric Research in Emergency Departments International Collaborative). Her role involves facilitating research operations across the network which includes research projects with many Emergency departments across Australia and New Zealand.

Cate originally qualified as a registered nurse and has since completed a master of public health and a master of evaluation and assessment. Cate has considerable and broad experience in epidemiology, clinical and health services research and is often involved in the early stages of getting projects off the ground to an operational stage. Her focus is also on the process of enabling high quality research with the PREDICT membership.
